Bispatial is electronic pop music lover, Paul Keen. Growing up against a soundtrack of 80s synth-pop music, Paul is heavily influenced by electronic bands such as the Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Yazoo and Erasure. His musical sensibilities owe much to the master of synth-pop himself, Vince Clarke.
Having been writing his own songs for several years, it is only recently that Paul has made the foray into producing electronic music. Following a handful of live appearances, Bispatial released his first ep Unfinished at the end of 2008, having co-written and and contributed vocals to two tracks on Madsen’s Milestone.
Bispatial spent much of 2009 honing his song-writing and production skills, collaborating with Vista, producing for Sure and remixing Haberdashery and Collider. He intends to put these new skills to good use on his debut album in late 2010.
